1st CANDLE – (purple) THE PROPHECY CANDLE or CANDLE OF HOPE – We can have hope because God is faithful and will keep the promises made to us. Our hope comes from God. “And again, Isaiah says, ‘The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; the Gentiles will hope in him.’ May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:12-13)

Thanks for visiting our online church family. In our church family, we celebrate Christmas in the season of Advent. The word "advent" is derived from the Latin word, "adventus", which means "coming". Our theme for Advent this year is, "Down to Earth". We will take a closer look at some of the important people that were part of the first Christmas story. It is our prayer that you experience the true meaning of Christmas this year. Through the life of a tiny baby, Jesus, God brought hope, peace, joy and love into the world. "The Word(God), became flesh and blood(Jesus), and moved into the neighborhood (our world). "God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again." (John 1:14, 3:17 - The Message Bible) This Christmas, we're celebrating God's love for us... His "down-to-earth", real, unconditional and forgiving love. From our church family to you and yours... Merry Christmas and blessings for a joyous and prosperous New Year!
